It looks like the Executive Power and the Sons and Daughters of the United States of America are being challenged by the (enter pronoun here)----------------and (enter other pronoun here)---------------- and G. Soros.
There is civil unrest in the homes and streets , riots, fighting, setting of fires and acts against the Constitution of the United States of America. Leaders and Citizens of other Nations and Countries who wish to see harm to the U.S.A are urging the dissenters ever onward. There is even a sect of immigrants who want to the U.S.A fail so their religion may conquer what is left in the aftermath.
May God Bless the United States of America.

If you wear a mask or cover your face to change the appearance of to conceal the identity of resemble another and do one or more of the following, cause damage, throw projectiles, carry an item that can be used as a weapon, cause harm or injury or death to another person then you are a terrorist coercing the population to your cause. As such you should be punished to the full extent of the law.

DiCaprio's scarry wind

The past six days have been extremely cold here in Alberta. In our area the daytime temperature is around the -20C to -24C (-7.6F to -9.4 ) with wind chill of -30C to -40C (-25.6F t0 -40F). Don't want to go out side for very long, and have to plug the truck and car in so they will start when we want to go anywhere.

Even with their winter parka and hood done up, our two Chihuahua dogs wont go outside. We open the door and they turn around and head down to their kitty litter pan to do their toilet.

Sure wish that warm "Scary" wind that DiCaprio experienced and is evidence of impending climate apocalypse would show up soon. We need a good Chinook to warm things up. Sorry Leo.

Is it time to step into the future? I guess so. Just finished another mystery/adventure book and was putting it up on the shelf with the many others I have read in just under the past year and a half and said to myself WOW look at all the books, and these are just a part of my enjoyment reading. I did a quick calculation and came up with (not including Tax) $1890.00.

I told mrsdinty and she suggested e-book over hard copy and save big time on the cost of a book. Still looking at pros and cons and the pros have a big lead for e-books. Well, I am going to try it. I still want the feel of book in my hands.

What is your choice? Paper or electronic?

Took my chihuahua on our daily walk on Sunday evening. No one around except the two of us. It was quiet, calm and rather pretty.

I have to renew my firearms licence and have to send in a current photo. Since it has been a while that I have tried the photo thing, thought I would send a picture of mrsdinty's Japanese lilac bush to see if it will work.

A true story of pet's I have had

I don't like to post or read long blogs, but there are exceptions to every thing especially when it comes to memories.

One of our many pets was a Calico cat named Tiny. She got along with many animals and people in our neighborhood. One home had two Siamese cats that Tiny would go over to visit. Mrs G would let her in and Tiny would play with Mrs G's cats for an hour or so then want to come back home(after Mrs G's house was trashed).

One thing that my heart as well as my head remembers is a German Shepard that Tiny befriended. We lived across the back alley from a Dairy Queen, and every evening this German Shepard would come to the back door and bark. Tiny would run to the door, and we would let her out. Then we would watch as the two of them would wander across the back yard, both with their tails held high and waving, towards the DQ store. A short while later Tiny and her friend would be back, she would come in and the would go home. The owner of the DQ told us that the and cat could come every day at the same time and be given(out the back door) part of a burger patty and a small serving of soft serve ice cream each. He would talk to them and then they would be on their way.

Why am I posting this? Because every so often my mind will flash the picture of them heading across the back yard with their tails held high and waving, and the memory makes me feel good.

May your pets bring you the same love and happiness.

I feel the same way that you do Alfie, but hesitate to respond for the reasons ET said. There are people here who bully, berate, degrade and make life miserable if you contradict their posting or answers.

People who take a 2 day, 2 week or 3 month course where 50% is a passing grade now know more and are experts compared to other people who take a 3 year, 5 year or 7year Diploma education where you take written exams and oral exams sit before a board and the passing grade is 95%. Oh yes they know more, so don't try to have an opinion or your in ca-ca and they attack you like a rabid skunk.

Cut and paste, cut and paste, repeat, repeat. Don't these people have an original idea. If you feel so compassionate about some thing, get out there and do some thing about it, don't sit here and whine about it. I bet some of the "political experts" don't even get up of their a$$ and vote.

I hear you Alfie but there are some good blogs and people I enjoy. Maybe I don't answer but I read em...Dan your jokes make me laugh.

Guess this answers the question

Last week our so in sunny 20C (30F) weather, I was fixing my snow blowers, sharpening the ice chipper, checking the snow shovels, put the tow chains and jumper cables in the back of the truck and a few of the other chores needed to prepare for fall and winter. A few of the neighbors stopped by with comments like "What are you doing that for" "Aren't you rushing things" and stuff like that.

Well it is -1C the furnace is on and here I am sitting by the window with my coffee and computer watching it snow. Light fluffy snow flakes all around. Happy September 8th ya all. Guess that answers the question.

Or could this could be my fault, like when you wash your car on a nice sunny day and it rains. Or it could be more like the Ant And The Grasshopper fable.

Oh great another question, is it my fault or is it like the fable
