I love being a mom and as a single parent, I would love to find the right person who could be a father figure to my girls. I look much younger than my age. My friends see me as a successful, hardworking person who is not afraid to help others. I love to be with my and am involved with their school and church activities. I am a fairly new Christian and am learning more each day about God's love for us.
I am an animal lover and have both cats and a dog. All my pets are rescued pets. I used to be somewhat of a jock, playing raquetball, skiing, bicycling, walking, working out. Time has taken its toll though, and career, family and life in general have taken precedence. I am now working to get back in shape and am successfully losing weight! I am a collector, a crafter, a home fixer upper, and even a poet! I like nothing better than to reflect on the day by sitting on my deck and watching the sunset while listening to the night sounds. I like going for walks and watching movies. I like to cook especially when it is appreciated by those I cook for. I am still a romantic and believe God has someone for me. Maybe he is on this site???
My Ideal Person
I would like to meet someone who can keep up with my active schedule and who is not afraid to help out with the kids, household chores, etc. I want someone who can love me for who I am, not just what I look like. I would be most interested in someone who shares some of my interests, but is not afraid to have some of their own and can understand my need to have my own too. He must be a Christian who can walk with the Lord with me. It would be so nice to have an adult I can talk to, and help me wind down my day. Do you like to hold hands and walk in a soft summer rain? Can you be playful, do you have a sense of humor? Are you someone who can talk and lose track of the time when you are with that someone special? Can you find fun in the simple things of life and are you still in awe of all of God's magnificent creations? Do you believe in His miracles? If maybe, just maybe any of this hits a chord with you, can we chat?
