My friends tell me I have an amazing capacity for patience and forgiveness. Actually it's just fatigue and indifference but who am I to argue?! Their version sounds so much more benevolent! I have raised 6 by myself while completing a degree. ..hence the fatigue. Now that the are all out of the nest...I'm discovering I have more time for personal pursuits. I'm out of practice so I'm looking for others to share their wisdom. Things I like: besides my family.... reading, knitting socks (it's the only thing I know how to make so far) traveling, building stuff, positive people, my computer, cooking for friends, good music, the Discovery channel, weekends, Bagpipes, good movies and my two tiny dogs, Willow and Lily. Things I hate: low integrity, dishonesty, debt, a messy garage (mine is always a disaster!) yardwork, people who borrow my tools and forget to bring them back, ice on my windshield in the morning...Winter is not my happy season. I dream of retiring to Mexico....early!

My Ideal Person
For now.....companionship. Later...who knows. I've spent the last 14 years raising a family and building a life for myself.
