I am writing this for my mother-in-law: She's a feist German with a soft heart who has spent so long doing so much for others that she's forgotten to have her own life. She is 71 and in need of friends. She is a Christian and any potential friends should have a firm belief in God & Jesus Christ. She is friendly and immediately connects with people she meets, but is too shy to go seeking people to connect with. If you don't like honesty and forthrightness, she is not the person for you to hang out with. She has a lot of common sense, but little education. If you are "high society", you may not be a good fit.
My Ideal Person
First and foremost, people who have a firm belief in God and Jesus Christ. She needs friends who will care about her. She needs people who will socialize and do things with her, but not necessarily every day. She has her routine and likes things to be a certain way at home, but it would be nice to have people to confide in and to go out with sometimes. She doesn't *do* much other than care for all of us right now, but I'm certain she could learn. I think she'd love to dance, and she can play rummy. Her back does hurt though, if she stands a long time (like cooking all day).
