I am retired and am spending time doing volunteer work here at the retirement center where I live. I just got through helping some residents here complete a survey on the computer. We finished with a 90 percent participation rate. Outdoors, I water flowers and vegetables during the growing season, I pick up litter and sticks/branches that fall from large trees here, I walk three dogs for residents here who are not mobile enough to walk their dogs sufficiently, and I have helped three residents with their cats. I have helped a couple of residents with their laundry, I gather cardboard boxes for people who are moving away or from one apartment to another here. A few residents here play Scrabble with me every other Saturday. I play in the Wii bowling league. On October 19, I missed bowling a perfect game by one pin on the last frame. On October 26, I bowled my first 300 game.
