The hourglass shows what happiness time brings

as sand slips slowly in conscious fall

each grain symbolic of memorable things

while mounds of thought build pymarid tall

Life is repetition of days recall overturned

once again the sounds of time starts to fall

memories of days past taught lessons well learned

so builds the grain of sand to tapering wall

Reversing the hourglass as time moves on

leaving crystal clear we see the view

empty is the mind as sand is gone

filling lonely hearts of both me and you

Repeatily the hourglass is reversed to stand

our mind of time recorded as we walk hand in hand
