I'm sorry to report I do not have a pet so I'm posting the pic I took of my youngest granddaughter, Lakelyn, and Issac the cat who use to belong to her and her siblings but had to go live with her Aunt and cousins! I guess we can call Issac the "multi-family pet"!

Yes, it is true. My -in-law ( I affectionately call him "SIL" ) is still repairing it. I'd hoped to have it back after we returned from our trip to Europe but it ain't fixed yet. (Asking to use someone else's' computer is such a pain).
So, for now, I'll say...we're back, I missed y'all and I'll have to wait to tell ya 'bout the trip.
PS. I posted a few pics at FB and some in a SFF album.

"That Sunday, That Summer"

"That Sunday, That Summer" is one of my favorite songs. It reminds me of Ben ( even though we met on a Saturday in the Spring of '08 ). Must have everything to do with the words contained in the song. "...If I had to choose one moment to live within my heart, it would be that tender moment recalling how we started, darling it would be, when you smiled at me...". Ah...romance.
I get so caught up in being happy spending time with Ben that I sometimes forget to thank my friends for their words of encouragement, funny remarks or big hugs. So, here and now I say thank you to all who have been so kind to me, either in written form or in person. Ain't it grand to have friends? If two years ago someone would have told lonely, sad 'ole me that I would find a network of friends who would lend a shoulder to cry on or laugh right out loud with me, I would have never believe him/her. I would have thought it wishful thinking at best. But here y'all are! Lucky me.
Now lucky me will be away from y'all for the better part of two weeks. Oh how I'll miss your smiling faces. I certainly can't make ya behave while I'm gone...hell's bells...I don't think some of you can behave! (I know, that includes me!) lol Just please take good care of yourselves. I've been a patient advocate in the past but I certainly don't want to return from traveling only to have to nurse ya back to good health. Hug each other, smile, iggy if you must and laugh out loud often!
On his birthday, Ben and I will be flying to London. We are taking a cruise. It all starts that Sunday, that summer...

Here's one of the Wizard Of Oz Cows that was displayed outside UW Hospital in Madison, WI. The money raised from the auctions went to the local 's Hospital.
