That continues to pertain to our senior years also, and you are so correct that one special friend can make a big difference for many of us. There are several examples of SFF bringing people together with that special friend.
In fact, that was all I was seeking when I joined. Content to be alone, I only wanted a friend to whom I could talk, laugh, cry, and go places with me that I would not go alone, like out to eat in restaurants. I actually got that and more as we fell in love and married.
But even at our age, we always have decisions, or crossroads, that can change our future life.
Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
