A mastectomy or did you mean a mammogram - BIG difference?

Congrats to Lynn. I assume you meant a MAMMOGRAM in the beginning of your post.

You should concentrate on not being a pillock.

Oh dear, I forgot to put the quotation marks on the comment I borrowed from you (bigblock) on Skariff's blog titled "update on denial". "You should concentrate on not being a pillock" is the comment you made to bondjam. For someone who gets their little feelings hurt so easily when your intelligence is called into question you have no problem hurling insults - as childish as they are. Your initial response was just fine, but you had to try to turn it into something more. So childish...

It is ironic that I saw my doctor on Monday. I was not surprised that the iron level was low. She advised me that the colonoscopy was due. It should be done every five years. I told her absolutely no FiretrUCKING way. Two years ago, I was in ICU attached to monitors, an IV bottle, and getting blood transfusions while prepping for a colonoscopy AND an esophagogastroduodenoscopy. It was horrible. I felt really bad for the nurse because I needed a lot of attention.

The doctor pointed out that if there are polyps, that they can cause bleeding.
A test from Cologuard would detect any bleeding for whatever reason.
