It's probably the salt in the chips that helps, gargling with salt water is also soothing, but yucky if you swallow it. Sinus problems are a pain.... we sound sick, but we aren't.... well, not that someone could catch it, anyway. My doc prescribed Flonase and it seems to help better than other antihistamines and decongestants, but I hate that feeling of something spraying up my nose. I've heard that rinsing with a "nettie pot" helps, but then again, I don't think I could take that feeling of water going up my nose. Sure hope you get feeling better soon. When I was younger, and people would talk about allergies, I had no idea what they were going through because I didn't have any problems like that. Now, I can sympathize, even though mine aren't nearly as bad as you describe. Sneezing? I can't imagine doing it that much..... just a time or two sends me running to the bathroom, and makes my bladder ache and spasm with the exertion. Even with a hard frost, the dust is still going to be a problem because our farmers are still harvesting. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
