I remember you sharing the second image earlier this year - I really like your painting. Is your painting multi-media - I see leaves in the foreground. I really like the semi-veiled face looking out from his bird 'head-dress' - symbolically, is it the mother feeding her young charges? Rich and complex - beautiful.

Thank you for sharing this remembrance and your paintings.

I've always heard that 'Island' folk were very interesting. Maybe one day I'll get over there and we can share a cuppa.

Very nice. Is it Oil or Acrylic? Collage? It is intriguing and your painting technique is most interesting. Thank you for sharing.

Your painting, like your writing is incredibly detailed. Not "too esoteric" for me and such a contrast from my style which is usually simple and bright, even when start out intending pastels. To me art is a nonverbal communication and this one definitely communicates.

A wonderful way to remember your friend.

I like your story, Lulu. Your paintings are interesting.
I know every painter has his/her own imagination or idea when doing their work. In some paintings, I, personally, would need an explanation to understand the meaning. I like the third one, because I see water, cascades, life in it. Like those of leaves, too.
Thanks for sharing your art.
