Repeat: Lucky me!! I will have my grandson staying with me for the next three weeks! So I have a nice strong young man to help me with some of the heavy lifting out here. YAY!!!! I know, I know, too many exclamation points. I'll calm it down a bit. He isn't in school because he is homeschooled, if anyone is wondering. He's finished with his school assignments in about three, to four hours, so the rest of the day, he's all mine. LOL, I promise I'm not going to over work him, he does have his games he plays with other boys his age online. All very polite and they always tell him to say hello to me, sometimes they just shout over the phone and say hello themselves. Oh, the reason I have him is because my daughter was sent to the Phoenix airport to train some new hires. She was also informed that she will probably be heading for the Denver International Airport next. This comes with a new title and a salary increase, she's not complaining one bit, and neither am I. Maybe I can talk him into learning how to play guitar?

I can imagine that you are excited.... your grandson will bring life into the house, and you'll prepare his favorite dishes. You will have a wonderful time together. Happiness is when what you think, what you say, what you do are in harmony - M. Gandhi

Enjoy your time together, Niles, it's lovely to have a bit of young company in the house. Congratulations to your daughter on her promotion.

Well, there goes your food budget! rofl. I'm sure both of you are going to enjoy this new adventure. And btw, learning to play the guitar is also "school work"..... as would be teaching him to cook, care for animals, gardening, etc. There is much more to home schooling than what's on the pages of the books. Have a wonderful time. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Nileyears I always find it interesting being around the younger generation. They keep me on my toes and they can learn from me and vice versa. My sister raised two boys who are 18 months apart. They are both over 6 feet tall so you can imagine how much food they put away. I always remember the story she told about them getting into the freezer and eating frozen cupcakes. They wouldn't eat them all. But of course she knew who the culprits were. So I can imagine your time with the 15 year old grandson. He will keep you on your toes. So have fun in the next three weeks.
