 It's not a spiritual awakening, but I think it might be my age.
I AM very aware of things around me.... especially appreciative of the beauty of nature, the beauty of good friends, the love of family, and all the good things in my life. Definitely do not want the distraction of negativity.
I do find I'm losing interest in some of the things I used to do...... and time alone is very precious. Joe can even attest to the fact that I can tune out everything, even him, and be alone with myself at times.
I don't know that I would want to be a hermit all the time, because there are times I love being with others, but there are definitely times I want the world to just go away and leave me alone.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
