" THE NEEDLE AND THE THREAD " I had drafted this blog sometime ago but being away, it has been kept and today am posting it as a pleasure, as a norm and to be among my series of blogs. It's about Needle and Thread . *Sewing was and is however by means of a needle and thread. Even in the modern time, needles and threads are in use. A needle must be threaded to enable any kind of sewing or embroidery. Evidently, needle and thread are meant to work together. Needles can be of different lengths and shapes, straight or curve, short and long. Depending basically on the nature of the work. Sewing is: to join, to fasten, to stitch, to attach, to embroider and to repair, to mend, to patch, to reinforce and to strengthen a torn or weak point, therefore, needle and thread are jointly used.They are obviously similar to a couple. So, one should choose the type of needle and thread needed according to the the type of work.Thus, while sewing, one must make sure that the needle remains threaded. Certainly, a Needle without Thread is abortive for sewing, ssa. They always proceed and progress together. Be it visible, known, hidden, disguised, fancy, noticeable or otherwise. Awareness of the main factors, is essential. This cryptogram is a virtuous paradigm to ponder upon. It is my perception for a general understanding of the mean reality. As someone who currently does hand embroidery as an art form and worked for a couple of years as a seamstress I can really identify with your analogy. Spiritwoman ^i^

I hope those who are still keen to it, would continue the art, however it can be. Togetherness is just as The Needle and The thread comparably. One can't do without the other certainly. Hi William, Thanks once more for your kind visit and your pleasant comments on this present blog of mine. Am so glad that it has brought you back good memories of your mom. I guess that she had the same passion in the art of sewing just as mine did as well. It used to be an heritage-like from our great grand parents down to our generation. I like sewing and embroidery too. I used to do it long ago as a hobby, I did it wonderfully on different materials. Nowadays, all are done by machinery and commercialized. But handmade embroidery is quite and more beautiful. The new generation is not interested in such now. Thanks again William for appreciating my blogs. My best wishes to you, enjoy your time. Lisa.

I think 'crafty' people are more active than a large amount of non crafty people. Why? Because most just vedge out in front of a TV and want to be entertained, not use the mind. Just my opinion though. As I dont watch TV at all at home I find anyone creative interesting. Nice work. Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.

I like writing my blogs, watch documentaries on the net and chat sometimes with my friends on SFF. But I used to do embroidery, and sewing before. Thank you again for your appreciation Hermitin.
