People turn to the governments because through them is the only way to change laws. What else do you expect.? Governments are the servants of the people...if they cannot do the job properly, that is what voting is for. And which is also "turning to the government"...a government who will do it's best FOR the people... instead of their contributors, cronies and themselves.l

If laws could solve the problems, then our country would have no problems at all because we certainly have plenty of laws. Your last four paragraphs covered quite well what I have been thinking. When the core of our society, the family, is eroded, the whole of society will collapse. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
