    Quoting OverTheRainbow8:
My friends son worked for Walmart last year and all they gave him was 15-20 hrs a week-- usually 15-- not enough to live on-- they seem to here anyway and in NY where I last worked hire some very poverty stricken people because few had any teeth left-- my clerk here yesterday probably mid 50's had none -- but at 20 hrs a week and no healthcare how can you afford dentures???
Corporations are not in the business of providing health care.

It's a function of government.

Would be great if some basic Econ could be added to a sane Core Curriculum for kids. Sadly, it could be spun in such a way to make Marxism look like the cure for world poverty, hunger and man-made-global-warming.

Un-addled History would help, but it too has been spun left for 50 years or so. Solid math wouldn't hurt. Not just asking a student "how they feel" about 2+2.

Grandparents, if you can, keep an eye on what the kids are being taught.

So what, lulu? You don't have the brains or education to be a bathroom attendant - why should you get paid like the CEO of a multi-national-multi-billion-dollar conglomerate?

    Quoting  :

Nonsense.

It's irony, just like when you call me a commie.

Or do you really mean it?

If that's the case, then it is slander.
