 Hi Maisie: Every time I pay for any type of service or buy something other than food, I'm always amazed at the huge amount of sales tax we have to pay. In addition to sales tax, of course there are numerous other taxes we have to pay in Canada, but personally I'm happy to pay them when I think of all the benefits we have and how much good our tax money is doing for the people.

There will always be people who abuse the system if they can, but hopefully there are safeguards and people working on more safeguards.
