Gavin, What in the world are you talking about? Both Rent and I certainly lived during the period that I mentioned. It appears that while I addressed the subject of the blog...(note the hyperbolic quotation", you have wondered off into the sublime. But as to the rest,I meant what I said Mite. Maisie's comments were not hyperbole. No American President has ever before done so much to deliberately destroy our economy, freedom, security, standing in the world, and way of life. You are always going on about China polluting....burning coal....why should we sign the agreements when China and India don't.....their levels are higher than ours...........yet you know better than most who bought most of the Chines-made goods........the unnecessary,useless garbage that flies off the shelves into the shopping basket and then onto the landfill ...........holiday lawn ornaments...........outdoor carpeting, the doodads and plastic watchamahickies beloved of American shoppers......the cheap clothing that is quickly discarded........cheep cheep............American corporations demand cheap goods and China complies.........then Americans buy the cheapest they can find because they are addicted to stuff............buy and discard..... Walmart boasts of direct relationships with nearly 20,000 Chinese suppliers,and purchased $27 billion worth of Chinese-made goods in 2006.According to the Economic Policy Institute, Walmart’s trade with China alone eliminated 133,000 U.S. manufacturing jobs between 2001 and 2006 and accounted for 11.2 percent of the nation’s total job loss due to trade. But China is hardly the only source of Walmart goods: the company also imports from Bangladesh, Honduras, Cambodia, and a host of other countries............Seems to me that the purchasers of those cheap goods need to take some responsibility for the pollution created by their manufacture..............accountability for their own earth-destroying addictions. ..... OK. How about the laws against fund raising, arms dealing, and establishment of training camps for terrorist organizations targeting other nations?

I did. Cubans had camps on US soil to launch terrorist attacks on Cuba. The IRA openly raised money for their terrorist activities in Boston, New York, and Chicago. Are you saying there are no laws in the US against that? What would happen to someone who set up a training camp for people wanting to go to fight for ISIS?

Gavin is one of those holier than thou types that is adept at using his religion to engage in unchristian like behavior. He must be forgiven for his state of denial. Aside from that he does stink to high heaven. Please know that I've often tried to see things from your point of view, but I find it impossible to stick my head up ur azz. Are you saying that if ISIS set up training facilities similar to what the anti-Castro Cubans had, suspicion alone would not be enough to shut them down and send everyone to Gitmo?
