The End of an Era!
Lilium said rightly that shutting down the SFF site should be considered the end of an era. I see no reason to disagree with her. I know that “every ending paves, the way for new beginnings. ………Letting go of what was and embracing what will be. This is not the end; it's just a shift in our journey”.

 I personally believe that the closing of all the FriendFinder sites is a positive for me. Without going into any details about my situation .. it’s closure on so many levels. I can now let go of something that let go of me so very long ago.

Still not sure why we can still blog here though when nothing else is accessible. I think my final blog from December says it all. Nothing more is required.

Perhaps we can still blog here because the site's disappearance has taken a slow but sure death sequence. Indigo, I shall no doubt miss reading your meaningful blogs henceforth. I have moved my blogs from this site to a new platform somewhere on the network. Take care. Be safe.

I wonder for how long. It’s nice that we can still communicate through the blogs for now. I will still keep checking here to see if anyone has posted. It’s nice to know someone is still around. You take care of yourself as well looklook. I always enjoyed your posts.

 Indigo, I had no intention of posting a blog on this page after the SFF site owners notified us about its shutting down date. However, Alfie's last blog inspired me to post this one to see the site owners' reaction. I thank them for allowing us to use the site until now. Regarding communicating with each other, I would like to inform you that Gavin, Archer, and Pat are aware of my e-mail address. Take care. Be safe, dear Indigo.

I have a feeling the blogs will close down soon. It just takes time to dismantle. All the FriendFinder sites have been discontinued with the exception of AFF. Makes sense I guess as they were probably losing money. Lots of people left. It’s just nice to know you’re still out there!

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

You seem to be right, Alfie. Some of us can still read and post blogs because we have transferred some articles to a Pen Drive for safekeeping. I hope I am not wrong. My best wishes to you. Be safe.
