Thanks everyone.

I want to express my thanks and gratitude to everyone who showed concern for me and my family during the student revolt that eventually turned into a people's revolution to oust the fascist government of my country. We consider this student revolution as our second successful freedom struggle against the fascist ruler who ruled us for the last sixteen years.
During the period of upheaval, it was impossible to communicate with my friends and relatives anywhere due to the shutdown of internet services by the ruling regime. The day before broadband internet services were completely stopped, they also shut down mobile internet services. Our , who live abroad with their families, could not communicate with us during this time. The situation has considerably improved after an interim government headed by Nobel laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus was sworn in on August 8th. New Dawn in Bangladesh.
Thanks and best regards to everyone.

It's soooo good to hear that you're doing well, Looklook!!

I wish your new government all the best now that the fascist right wing dictator has been ousted. We were definitely concerned about your safety so I can imagine how worried your family must have been!!

Thank you, Alfie, for your Post. Even though the times (36 days) were terrifying, our support was always with students who have regained our lost rights.

Dear friend, the days were truly terrifying for elderly folks like us. However, the unarmed students ( who are like our grandchildren) bravely fought the oppressive regime to restore our lost freedom. We now feel liberated again.. I hope you are doing well, Rocketship.

Maudie, living alone in such a situation is truly frightening. But we were confident of success this time. The students bravely fought the oppressors to restore our lost freedom for all of us. Take Care, dear friend.

Thank you very much for keeping me in your prayers, dear serendipity. Our country, for which millions lost lives in 1971, is free again for the second time. This time, the young and old will keep it safe. We want true democracy to prevail here. Take care, dear serendipity.

Hugs, dear StarCandy. We are fortunate that nothing bad has happened to me. However, I am sad to say that many young souls have lost their lives while fighting the fascists to restore true democracy in my country. Take care and be safe always.

Shartaun, you live in a country where democracy reigns supreme! Things were different here over the last 15 years. We lost our freedom, so, our young souls had to fight again to restore it. We are free once more. Have a nice time, dear friend.

I feel always happy to hear from you on my blog page, dear Abelle. The time was truly frightening for elderly people like us. But the students were fearless. They restored our freedom to speak again in this country without fear or favor. I hope you are keeping well. Take care.

Dear Archer,
I was incredibly touched when I saw your email on 24th July waiting for me to read in my inbox. During that period, I tried in vain to talk over the phone, from time to time with my two children living abroad. It was a pleasant surprise to see your e-mail at that time. Thank you very much for showing me your concern at that time. I can't express my gratitude enough. Thanks once again, dear friend. Stay happy and cheerful always.
