To the unseen dweller Come home to me you who dwell in my heart Reveal yourself into the crimson light From the abode of my dream To take your place in my tears and laughter. Come out from your momentary shelter To live with me forever. Come home to me you who dwell in my heart. Translated from the Bengali song Esho Amar Ghare Esho by Tagore. |

I feel the lyrics of this little poem express a great deal of sadness, possibly for a love lost. Thank you for sharing~~

I feel the lyrics of this little poem express a great deal of sadness, possibly for a love lost. Thank you for sharing~~ Translating Tagore songs into English or other languages from Bengali is not an easy proposition. I try to use words that would communicate the feelings expressed in Bengali at least correctly as far as possible. I love to listen to the song whenever I miss someone who is/was dear to me. Take Care, my friend.
