Best time to trekking Kanchenjunga from far away We don't need to travel to Darjeeling, India, to catch a glimpse of the majestic Kanchenjunga, one of the three highest mountains in the world. We can view it from our homeland, usually from mid-October to January. Currently, it is visible from Panchagarh and Thakurgaon in Bangladesh. In November, the view of the snow-capped Kanchenjunga is breathtaking because the air in this region of Bangladesh is clearer than in other areas, and the weather is pleasant. If you want to learn more about this beautiful mountain, you can search the internet and read about it. Photo Credits: : Md Nowshad Alam Nowaj |

LOVELY VIEWS OF AN IMPRESSIVE MOUNTAIN RANGE. HERE WE CAN SEE THE MOUNTAINS FROM DOWNTOWN AND SOME MOUNTOPS ARE NOW COVERED WITH SNOW. THE HIGHEST MOUNTAINS IN THIS REGION ARE OVER 3 000 METERS HIGH. I KNOW YOURS ARE MUCH HIGHER AND NOT ALL THAT FAR FROM YOU ARE THE HIGHEST MOUNTAINS ON OUR PLANET.

How beautiful these pictures are!!! The area of British Columbia that I'm in is a very long valley surrounded on both sides by the Rocky Mountain Range. Fortunately where I am, the valley is quite wide so the mountains don't loom over us here like they do in some of the more narrow valley areas.

The Hill Tract districts in my homeland resemble the regions you described in your above post. However, the hilltops in this area are not very high. It is the only extensive hilly region in Bangladesh, located in the southeastern part of the country. Many of our tourist centers are located in this region. This is the time to visit these places. Take care of Yourself. Stay cheerful, Rocket.

Fantastic pictures, LookLook. Stunning. Our highest mountain is Mt. Kosiosko at 2,228 meters. One can walk to its summit from the car park. Literally. Australia is the flatest continent in the world. I am not even sure what a mountain is! post243461
