A Night scene

I don’t hate my neighbor’s lights shining through his windows in the evening each night. Because his lights do not trespass onto our property in any way. By midnight, these lights routinely disappear and the tall apartment building magnificently stands majestically in the moonlight. You may look at the photo of the building posted below. I have taken the photo this evening while standing on the roof of my two-storey building. The tall coconut trees seen in the picture are standing on our property.

Happy viewing.

Really lovely night photo, Looklook.I find it comforting and reassuring to see lights shining in my neighbours windows. I don't like the darkness of night at all.

Usually, I do not shoot photos at night because I am not a good photographer. But last evening, it was different. The sky was clear. The moon above one of the two coconut trees looked like a full moon to me. The building, standing in between my two coconut trees in the semi-dark, made me shoot the photo.
Thanks, Maudie, for your post. Stay happy and cheerful always.

I can not sleep if the lights in my bedroom are on. I fall asleep quickly when the room is dark. The curtains of my bedroom always remain drawn. Stay safe, Star Candy.

Shartaun, I always feel happy to read from you here on my blog page. You are correct when you say that no matter where we live, the moon hovering above is there for all of us. It brings us closer to each other. Stay safe, dear friend. Have pleasant times.

When I lived in the country, the only light I could see at night was from the moon and the stars. Because there was no city light pollution they were very bright.

I loved sitting in my sun room at night with a glass of wine enjoying the light show.

THAT LOOKS LIKE A 4-STOREY APARTMENT HOUSE, THE SAME HEIGHT WE ARE ALLOWED HERE NOW. DOESN'T YOUR NEIGHBOR HAVE SHUTTERS? I WOULDN'T WANT ANYONE TRYING TO LOOK INTO MY FLAT AT NIGHT. SHUTTERS CLOSED AT NIGHTFALL.

I recollect seeing Gas lights in the streets of the city where I was born in British India. Subsequently, these streetlights were gradually replaced by electric lights hanging from electric line posts. We had an electric line connection in our city home. But such a facility was not available in our ancestral village home. I had to live in our village home during World War II when the Imperial Japanese Armed Forces attempted to capture Kohima ridge. It was the time when I saw Kerosine oil lamps used at home at night. Like you, it was also the time for me to see the only light outside our house at night was from the Moon. Stay cheerful, Rocketship. Have a wonderful time.

The building in the picture is a six-story apartment. The Building height must not be more than this height where I live now. The building rules are going to be changed soon. Probably, we shall be able to build taller apartment buildings under certain conditions. Take care, my friend, Archer. Have a pleasant time.
