Photo Friday----Bay Laurel Tree. Bay Leaf Tree Photo of an evergreen shrub with aromatic leaves standing majestically in my garden! Bay laurel is known here in my homeland as “Tejpata”. How tall do bay leaf trees get? The tree in my garden is now thirty feet tall. It may grow up to 40 feet. Bay leaves can also be maintained as large shrubs in containers. What are the benefits of bay leaves? It is a good source of Vitamin A, vitamin B6, and vitamin C. Bay leaf tea can help ease bouts of upset stomachs. The tea is also very aromatic, which can help relieve sinus pressure or a stuffy nose. Do you want to know more about this wonderful tree? Then go to the internet please to find more details. Thanks for stopping by.

Bay leaf is considered by some as an effective mosquito repellent! I am not sure about it though.

Actually, I don't know if they are grown in my country. ![]() Greetings and my best wishes. Good to read from you here on this page after a considerable time. Thank you so much for stopping by. I don't know whether bay leaf trees are planted in your country or not. But I am sure that dried up bay leaf is available in your country either in a jar or in a packet on the shelf of your grocery shops. Greetings too from Dhaka. Wishing you all the best. Be safe.

Our city has almost turned into a concrete jungle. The tall apartment buildings have occupied every inch of vacant space. Mine is different. It is a double-story building surrounded by trees I planted. Because, like you, I also love listening to the wind in the trees. Stay happy and cheerful, dear Sandy.

You are right, Karin. Nature has given us everything that we need to live a healthy life. So far I know, Bay leaf trees grow almost everywhere on this planet. Thanks for your post. Be safe.

Here in my country, none can even imagine cooking a spicy item without adding at least a bay leaf (dried) while cooking! I have seen my mother use a piece of bay leaf in her lentil (Dal) soup cooked for me to drink. Thanks, Shartaun, for stopping by and for the post. Be safe and stay cheerful.
