Yes, my dear Archer, you are right when you say that "LIFE IS NOT A QUIET LONG RIVER!". I have no reason to disagree with you. However, here the story is different. Here the song depicts the agony of someone who feels the presence of the lost love around. Though the song is in the Bangla language, one who does not understand the language, may turn nostalgic while watching the particular scenes of the movie. Take care and be safe.
