For the past nineteen years I have been a member of SFF. My wife and I met here and were married in the presence of many of our SFF friends. Among those friends were Mott and Plano, two of the most cherished members of this community. We lost both last week. Many of our friends have come and gone over the years and I miss them all. 😥😪😕😓 Fossil Non ego te hic placere

I've heard it said, "Everybody likes a little ass, but nobody likes a smart ass.".............. but you? I like you! I too, have watched the number of our SFF friends dwindle, not just here on the site, but in real life. Some have just left SFF and others have left this life and will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. Joe and I both knew Mott and Plano and have very special memories of both of them. We also just received word of the passing of another friend from another internet group. She was a lot like Mott in personality and always kept us laughing when we were together. She will be greatly missed too. Then to top it all off, Joe just lost a cousin in Charleston, and a good friend of ours here at home lost her father. I know it is "our age group", but this part of getting older really sucks! Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Oh, and to address the title........ it just isn't on SFF. Hate seems to permeate a lot of the areas of our lives these days. But we must just keep on, and ignore what we can. Love to you and the Missus. Have a wonderful holiday season. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

HOW TRUE FOSSIL, WE HAVE MET LOTS OF PEOPLE AND HAVE LOST A FEW TOO. I WAS VERY FOND OF BOTH MOTT AND PLANO AND WILL SURE MISS THEM BOTH.

Wow Boogie I never knew that about those kinds of donkeys. A long time ago my oldest sister and her husband at the time had a donkey and a mule. They truly loved those animals. Mules are a mix of a horse and a donkey. Mules are mutants and cannot reproduce. I have never heard of a Jerusalem donkey. I find that interesting.
