 Big Picture ..

-The National Anthem is not a REQUIRED ingredient for a sports event.

-Players, coaches, owners, staff, fans, media are all requirements for success.

-there have been cases in the past where political statements have been made a at the Olympics and other sporting events, and we have always had Presidents smart enough to handle it.

-After Trump said "fire that son of a bitch" I think if would have been appropriate for the NFL to break all ties with government.

A separation of sports and state.

 Frankly, whatever the country, I can't understand why sporting events still begin with national anthems.

They quit that at live performances and in movies theatres many years ago.
