[SIZE 3]Bob Cat or A Cat Named Bog

Quite a while ago I read a book review on a book called "A Street Cat Named Bob". The book was written by James Bowen.

James Bowen was a recovering drug addict, a homeless musician, busking on the streets of London to survive, but the moment he met an injured stray cat with ginger fur and big green eyes, his life began to change. Together James and Bob the cat faced the world - and won.

I must say I found it hard to put the book down when I had to attend to work and sleep, and could hardly wait to pick it up again. Ever have one of those books you don't want to end?

Then came the information that James Bowen had a sequel in the works. Today I found "The World According To Bob" I am on page 13 and glad to say I'm hooked again.

Even if you are not a cat lover, I am sure you will enjoy these books. Try it and then you can say "I read a good book today"

Sounds like a great example of how pets can change lives - the power of unconditional love.

How true Spirit. There is a book "An Unexpected Grace" you might like. I'll put a blurb in the blog about it. It is by Kristin von Kreisler who writes articles and bestselling books about animals.

They sound like my kind of books, I enjoy most books based around animals, though I am not really a cat person, I prefer dogs. Will look out for these two books.

Alfie...

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

Hi Alfie. James in his book refers to a homeless newspaper called "The Big Issue" that he sells to make extra money, as well as his busking, to live on.

The homeless people have to follow a bunch of rules in order to sell the paper "The Big Issue". Would you know if this is a fact?
