I'll tell you what kind of music gets on my nerves.

I saw this question on a blog that I don't open because it is always political or about guns, but there is also music that turns me off too.

What gets on my nerves is (if you can call it music) especially Gangsta and also SMUT music, ugly songs promoting sex, violence and death. What also turns me off is the people who promote and sing this type of music. Live is to sort to waste my time on that crap.

Please try to answer only about what kind of music that gets on your nerves. Thank you.

 I like most music.... some of it in smaller doses than others.

Operatic sopranos in very small bits....LOLOL. A wee touch of if I can understand the words and it's not 'gangsta'.

Give me blues, soft jazz, and operatic tenors.... sighhhhhh.... and of course that old time rock & roll.

 Same here, dinty, I can't tolerate either! Mind you I enjoy jazz and some opera, but I know of people who don't. Personally I can only take so much of country western which is what hubby's family were used to (although he wasn't). But then I know of those who only listen to country western and can't tolerate other types of music!!

 Hi Dinty: I know isn't for everyone but I love it. To me, it's just a person 'talking', telling us about their life to a music beat. I like Latin music the best, as I love the beat. When I hear songs or poetry that rhymes it sounds so corny to me now. My favourite music is opera and I could listen to Opera and Latin all day.
