The feast before the famine or OMG that was good.

Starting tomorrow we go back to portion/sensible eating but today was last day of sinful food.

Mrsdinty made a prime rib roast cooked low and slow and Yorkshire pudding, crisp but soft inside, and drippings gravy. An outstanding job because it was perfect. I chose baked potato with sour cream and onions, then buttered cauliflower and caramelized sweet potato's. No room left for homemade Cherry Cheese Cake, maybe later tonight. All I can say is, OMG it was the best I have had.

Happy New Year to you all.

We've decided to lose a bit more weight in the new year too, Dinty, and reading about all this food is making me drool!

Alfie...

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

Right on Alfie. We will have the same yummy food, just smaller portions and not miss any meals. Start the day with toast/jam, oatmeal and coffee. More salads less sugar.

Already cutting back here. I didn't gain any weight over the holidays but have to dump about 5 pounds before next month is Mexico so I can gain it back!
