Lets try another photo of a white gopher
There were three or four or so white gophers last year at Toleman's Bridge last year but according to the Fish and Wildlife Officers they did not last due to their color. Lot of the brown ones are still there of course.

 The little critter is having its picture taken so is posing!

When they are looking around for danger, they sit straight up, not moving for several minutes at a time. If they see anything, they give a warning and disappear in a flash.
