Remembrance Day
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them.

 The older I get, the more I feel that much of the Remembrance Day rituals are simply glorification of war.

And I was an RCAF officer in the 60`s.

I wish we would dwell on the naivete of young men who go to war for glory, and the duplicity of politicians who send them.
