Foto Friday Ships & Boats 2 ![]() Pictures of the Pasha Bulker (a large carrier ship) stranded at Nobbys Beach during some very wild storms in June 2007. The ship was in the ocean outside the harbor waiting to load coal when she ran aground at the beach. Salvage took almost a month and getting her back into the open waters was no easy task weighing 76,741 metric tons of dead weight in the sand and reef. Other pictures in calmer times on the right from top to bottom are Canoeing at Ettalong, a charter boat at Phillip Island and part of the marina at Toronto. |
