foto friday nastalgia

(image)

The house I lived in until I was 7 years old, back then there was no fence or gates,no railing on the front porch and no extra room. It was a small home where my brothers and sisters played under a huge willow tree in the corner of the yard out front and my older brother and I walked to the school on the next block just around the corner.

The house next door was where my best friend lived and I once ran away from home to the second house up from there...lol On a recent visit I saw all the changes that were made and couldn't help wondering how much longer that old house will stand, saw all the changes and extensions and I never realised just how big the place was when I was small.

A few years ago I visited my old family home in Tacoma, Washington. The memories were so thick I could swat them.

I am sure your thoughts wax back to good times when seeing where you grew up....it sure does for me....
