Foto Friday Seasons

My collage this week shows:
Bottom left: Mount Crackenback in the Kosciusko National park, the snow still visible on the peaks and cold in November (the last month of our spring).
Top right: Summer storms over Sydney Harbor light up the sky, this was taken at night.

The rest of the pictures were taken in my very own back yard:
The sun peaking through a winter fog and the recent dust storm we had this spring, both were taken in color and in daylight hours but appear very differently.
Our past summers have been very dry and the ducks thought that they had found the perfect water hole, my swimming pool, which they visited several times before moving on.

Back to spring of this year (now): The bottle brush trees are in flower and this brings many native birds to my back yard. Using a zoom lens I was fortunate to get close enough to snap a couple of shots of the rainbow lorikeets that frequent my yard at this time of year. The seasons change and each has its own wondrous sites but I like spring the best, beautiful flowers and many beautiful birds and their young that I watch quietly while they visit. This spring is special for me because it also brings the birth of my new granddaughter.

Spring is the season that truly shows Mother Nature at its best.

Hi Wonderious......Wow! You did a great job. Those birds are certainly colorful. Just a few feathers for tying flies with, OK? lol. Just kidding. Great collage.....thanks so much for the post. Mike
