Foto Friday..Trees A small mountain I have hiked up several times is said to hold some spiritual ambiance, I go there simply for the serenity and beautiful views. Huge rocks with carvings form the cavity at the start of the climb. Large trees twisting and writhing to reach for the sun, trees that have found their hold by outstretching over rocks and a single tree that frames the picturesque water view from the top of the mountain. At Somersby Falls deformed trees that have found their home clinging for life to the rocky edges of a water fall. Twisted, deformed, split and hollowed out trunks of the gums and banksia to the beautiful flowering warratah and the majestic tree silhouetted by the sunrise, mother nature has provided for their survival and blessed us with their beauty. All of this in my home town, I hope you enjoy my collage.
