The Troll, California Sister-In-Law, and Polosi's Hot Mess Last night I encountered the GOP Troll. He made the mistake of thinking that he would target and get me bounced from a local Republican site but ended up bounced himself. The advantage of Small Town, USA West Virginia is that we know each other. I even know and communicate with the political candidates. There are candidates from both sides that I totally respect. The Troll claimed to be a gay hairdresser in New York born in West Virginia. I think he was wanting to shock the group. I explained that I was born in Los Angeles but part of the WalkAway movement which was founded by a gay man. The GOP Troll started slamming the local Democrat Senator calling him Satan and other ugly things. Stop! I corrected him. The Senator is NOT Satan, he is a minister. I know this minister, I respect him and I am going to say something if someone says something ugly about him regardless of his political party. I left the Democratic party because of the ugliness of some of the members. We don't need to operate at that level. We should be better than that. So the troll started attacking me - posting my picture and trying to expose me as a "fake" Republican. Dah! So my friends removed his posts and toss him into the iggie box. I generally trying to stay in the closet about my political inclinations but it doesn't always work out. My California Sister-In-Law found out that I am registered Republican. She claimed West Virginia is the right state for me, that my late husband would be laughing his azzzzz off at me and she send me a celebrity endorsed article on why Republicans are not good people. California is a good place for her but there is a good possibility that several of the districts including the one where she resides are going to flip Red. I am so grateful to be in West Virginia with the leaders that we do have versus the likes of Pelosi, Waters, and Feinstein. Pelosi and Waters have the most impoverished, crime ridden, blighted districts in the state. Some of the things in Pelosi's latest stimulus bill. Taking the election control out of the hands of the state and local governments and into the control of the federal government. No Voter ID required. No Social Security number required for the next stimulus checks. Environmental justice - regulation the energy companies and closing jobs for citizen who work for them. These are issues that do NOT help the United States citizens in the pandemic crisis. They are irrelevant and should be different bills. |

District 25 where I send my childhood has already turned Red. There are several Northern California districts that are heading toward the red zone.

I laughed when I thought of that troll trying to bait you.... I do believe anyone who tries that has bitten off far more than he can chew! Personally, politically, I wish we lived in a different state. Living in downstate Illinois is like living in a different state but being under the rule of Chicago. Our governors that are from that area are totally out of touch with the rest of the state and have no idea of the problems or lack of them that we have and want to rule the whole state by Chicago standards. I'm just glad we are downstate! Much more peaceful. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

The majority of California land mass, counties and districts are red. California is like the rest of the country in that blue districts are heavily populated city areas. Maybe take a look at the reasons that heavily populated areas are blue … and which came first the chicken or the egg? 60-70 years of assault on US Labor by 'free market advocates' like Rush Limbaugh might have something to do with entitlement mentality. Ya think?
