Fota Friday - Still Training for the Marathon - 26 Miles Yea Haw! I met the Training Group on Saturday - May 7th and ran 2 Miles. The Following Week, I ran 2 Miles on Tuesday and Thursday. I did the Wednesday 3 Mile Run on the Threadmill at the Gym. It makes timing my progress a whole lot easier. I ran the first two miles in less than 30 Minutes but it took 17 Minutes to do the final Mile. I have to get it down to 11 Minutes a Mile. In fact I have to get it down to 26 Miles Times 11 Minutes by October. This Saturday, I'll run 3 Miles with the Running Group. Next Weeks 3 Miles on Tuesday, 2 Miles on Thursday and 4 Miles on Wednesday and the following Saturday. I have a good laugh listening to my who reminds me that I AM in my late 50's. "and your point is........." I ask him. |
