AMERICA'S GOT TALENT

Although I've lived in SoCal most of my life, I don't venture into Los Angeles or Hollywood very often, but my neighbor sent in for tickets to America's Got Talent auditions last Wednesday and invited me to join her. Because of morning traffic, it took almost two hours to get into town, which on a light traffic day, would probably take an hour.

When we got to the Dolby Theater, we had to wait in line for over an hour and a rep came by and told us we were on standby! Our first thoughts were all that traffic, parking, and standing in line and we might not get in! Eventually we did and enjoyed the show very much. The streets were crowded with tourists and on spring break and it was a nightmare to navigate. We ended up eating in an Italian restaurant and had very good pizza and Italian beer.

In the pic, Howie has hair. Not so anymore!

That would have been a highlight of life! Fun too. Not everyone gets to see a tv show filmed.

Brave of you. Glad you did get to enjoy the show. I haven't been to see a show being taped in almost 30 years and that because a friend was visiting from Montana. ]interesting how we neglect things in our own back yard.

You're right! There are so many amazing things to do. I really enjoy looking at some of the old buildings and I've always wanted to take a walking tour of the old theaters.
