I've had the clock for over 40 years. It's a turn of the century German clock and keeps good time and it's one of my favorite things.

 You made me realize I have a Cuckoo clock from Germany my brother bought fo me in 1965. It has stopped working, the baffles have dried up. I have had it repaired 2 or 3 times and the last time the guy said it cannot be fixed anymore and to just enjoy it as it is. It still hangs on our dining room wall.

Your clock is beautiful, no matter whether sideways or upright!
