I love them...we had one on Valentines Day with my singles discussion group. It was a total BLAST......we did the twist, the mashed potatoes, the stroll, the jerk. I would absolutely go to one if were anywhere I could get to. RED Some believe in destiny, some believe in fate. I believe that happiness is something we create

I attended one here locally and had the time of my life! Sadly, none of these SFF events are even remotely close to me, and I cannot afford to attend them all. *SIGHS*

forget all the poodle skirt, pedal pushers ,bobie sock ,,,sand shoes with pink shoelaces , I wanna see that itsy bitsy teeny weenie yellow polka dot bikini..........All kidding aside sounds good to me but throw in some slow dancin OK? Hi all.. There really is going to be one... I hope you all will make it.. can make it.. Whether you want to dress up.. dance.. be a wall flower.. do the Fonz.. or just come for the spiked punch! We are going to have a great time! Start saving your pennies now.. later will be more news.. I can say.. October is a great month ..here in Florida.. it's a wonderful time to gather up our gatherings and put away our year's worries and troubles.. and let it all hang out.. well.. ok.. not all of it.. keep some hidden.. lol.. but.. right before all the holidays start it's a nice time to plan a 4 day vacation.. to meet and mingle.. and party with friends from all over.... Gina, you mentioned this Sock Hop in chat the other day. Never heard of such a thing, must be American, lol. But you know what? Woke up this morning, made a coffee, opened to your blog, and within minutes made me feel a lot older than I already am by shoving all those 50s and 60s things under my eyes, rofl. But I can still dance!! Even if I won't let anyone watch me doing it, apart from the foxtrot, hehe
