Another Great Time! Hi all.. I just wanted to first and foremost once again thank Jack and Lucy for an awesome job! This is my third Florida Bash... and I have got to say.. it has been the best so far! For those of you who could not make it I wanted to post this blog and give you a glimpse of the bash from the ones who did get to go.. I could tell you all what a great time I had and I will say one thing that I thought was great but I think this blog would be great to hear from all the people that went.. If you could describe your experience in blog form..what would you say? What was the best thing or two that you found at this bash.. I had (in Mott's language) a LARGE time!  Out of the 3 Florida bashes this was the best one yet! Not only was the ball beautiful.. I got to meet some new awesome people as well as getting together with the friends I have made through the last bashes. But the most touching moment for me was last night after the bash in the Karaoke bar.. As I sat there listening to the SFF singer sing You're Nobody Till Somebody Loves You.. it came to me how there were many of us who not only reached out to others.. laughed with others.. but the awesome gathering of others who traveled from all over.. was amazing! I thought at this moment.. there is nowhere else you can build friendships, laugh with others, give and get hugs, laugh with others.. ohh I said that! then how and what we did here in Florida.... The singer by the way was LUKN.. it warmed my heart to hear his thank you speech at the BALL..to all that prayed, wrote and spoke to him while in the hospital and to hear him sing that song... Made me realize just how lucky we are to have friends and people who care.. I know I am.. Please tell us your best moment at the bash.. the most memorable thing.. the funniest thing you heard ..seen.. share with those who were not able to join us so they can feel somewhat what we felt.. I'm glad SOMEBODY finally cracked LOL Yes yes yes I'd love to hear all the Florida bash stories and see lots and lots of pics too I am envious of the fun you all must have had LOL

Ha-a-a.. yes! There were some "Great Memories" made at the bash. When you mix 'great' people and a 'good' time there is only one outcome... I do hope Gina can keep some a secret till next time... He-he-e! More later, it was a long trip... So where can I veiw all 'em pictures ya'll took?

Awwwwwwwwwe Jes wasn't it wonderful..........best thing for me? I was with someone who is very special to me, we love each other very much, and we had a great time....other than that I have waited forever to meet MsTurtleBug , hooray we finaly meet......and then there was lothringa and maudie what a great couple they are.......and gosh all the other new ones and of course the oldie which I have felt like is my extended family ever since the first bash 3 yr. ago. The most touching moment for me was to see Lukn on that dance floor and so happy to be alive and in love....gosh the Lord did a job on him..slowed down long enough to find the one he was looking for....was so proud of him and how far he has come in such a short time..................hugs to all that did and did not make it, love you all..............special hug for you Gina...........Carol "Love One Another, As I Have Loved You" Luke 22:1-38; John 13

Jes, Sweetie! If I have to name ALL the memorable moments that I experienced at the St Pete Bash, you may have a blog of unmeasurable length! So, in the interest of brevity, I am going to list some of the ones that still tug at my heart and make me realize how much fun this group really is. In no particular order, here are a few of my special moments. 1. Meeting the new people, many of whom were venturing for the first time to a Bash. They picked a good one! 2. Seeing our wonderful long-time friends again that we often only see at the Bashes! 3. The sparkle in Meme's eyes, the sound of her charming Southern Belle voice and the smile that never goes away. 3. The contagious laugh of 1HappySoul that spreads through a group like wildfire. 4. Leg wrestling with LoveToLaugh and Imatallone on the floor of the hotel restaurant! 5. Seeing Michael96 for the first time since we were both paroled from Atica in 1979. 6. Being amazed by the fact that LadyH becomes more beautiful every year instead of aging! Must be the water in Germany. 7. Getting tickled by Headboard driving his "Scooter" through the lobby of the hotel with his turn signals still blinking. 8. Finding out that there are MANY versions of English that are not even close to each other, i.e. IRISH, AUSTRALIAN, CANADIAN and AMERICAN English. 9. Robyn, the waitress in the hotel restaurant, who actually learned the names of almost everyone who came to the Bash! 10. Hearing the voice of Fred David (MusicMusicMusic) floating through the chaotic laughter of the Mardi Gras Ball. 11. The great feeling that I felt when Keith, SunnyDay's and TallNiceGuy's Son, won the very first door prize at the Ball. 12. Seeing faces that had previously only been silhouettes in SFF profiles! 13. Being happy that there were NO "sexually frustrated ole biddies" at the bash this year! 14. Watching MMM and Lothringia singing "That's Amore'" at one the Karaoke nights in the lounge. 15. Taking a bubble-bath with ConnyBot. 16. Finding a local pharmacy that would sell SkyCop Viagra in large bottles. 17. Seeing LUKN, hearing LUKN tell us an amazing story of the love of his life, and helping LUKN take a leak a few times. 18. Watching people trying to get size 10 masks onto size 12 heads at the Mardi Gras Ball. 19. Having Mike Walsh, the Disc Jockey at the Mardi Gras Ball, tell me that our group was the most fun bunch of people he had ever worked with. 20. Finding out that people actually still skinny dip in hotel swimming pools after age 50 ! 21. Seeing Over dressed as a Pimp and looking very natural! 22. Finding out that Simpatico, DesignerDiva, Softwinds, 1HappySoul and ImaTallone MAKE a party wherever they go! 23. Discovering that Imatallone can really crack nuts with her legs. 24. Seeing Rusdur ALMOST nekkid at the Mardi Gras Ball. 25. Wondering how long it will take Florida to get back to normal. These are just a few of the things that come to mind as I recover from one of the most memorable events in my life. To those of you who helped and supported us in the planning of the St Pete Bash, we are eternally grateful. We really love you guys! Fossilfetcher and Lucy I got a tattoo of Obama on my arm and it suddenly quit working

Gina.....what i will remember most is how a 100 people from many nations, states, different backgrounds can enjoy a common goal...be happy, have a good time. As for the funniest moment it definately was watching the imatallone roll jack over at leg wrestling.

It was such a pleasure meeting you Gina. You have sooooooo much energy and what a great smile you have. Kind regards to your lovely parents, what a sweet couple they are.
