Welcome. In order to get a blog to show up in the list of blogs, there has to be a comment made, so all of us just make the first comment on the blogs we post. Have you tried the chat rooms? They are often empty these days, but sometimes you will catch some fun and interesting folks in there. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Hello ! Welcome ! There are a lot of very nice people here. All have very different interests and views. I usually pick out the blogs I want to read as my interests differ. I try to not read political or religious ones. Both of those subjects are too confrontational. This is a nice place to find friends all over the world !

Welcome, Simple Lady. Nice meeting you here. I remember my days in your wonderful country in 1976 when it was divided. Take care. Be safe.

Happy Saturday to you Ms SIMPLE LADY, glad to be a new friend to you in Germany, home of my great grandparents from maternal & paternal side of my father's parents. Surname: Bork & Boesche & Rotermund Have little information as yet, from Ancestry.com. Such a shame I didn't ask more questions as a young child so much valuable lessons lost to the ages about life before coming to USA in 1867. However, believe all came from same community in Prussia as mouth of southern River....I'll need to get more specific and would enjoy seeing the farming area that was there's so long ago. Their farm I grew up on in 1954 is now covered with Chicago expressway at O'Hare Intl. Airport access.
