EVERY MOMENT Life always gives us exactly the teacher we need at every moment. This includes every mosquito Every misfortune Every red light Every traffic jam Every obnoxious employee or boss Every illness Every loss Every moment of joy Every moment of depression Every piece of garbage Every breath JOKO BECK So what does this mean to me? I have learned that blogland is a unique community and a rare breed of people, not unlike the people we meet in our everyday life. There are Poets, story tellers, Jokesters,Cynics, Clowns,Lovers, Players, Mean people, Nurses, Doctors,Pilots, Truck Drivers and then there are the Teachers... We are all unique individuals with our own one of a kind style and ideas and imagery. We need to celebrate our uniqueness and value each others special gifts. We all add our own distinctive flair to this special family of SFF. Each blog is exceptional in its own rare way. When I want a laugh I know whom to pay a visit to make me smile again. If I feel like being charmed with poetry I know where to go for that. If I am feeling a little naughty I know who to read. And if I want to be inspired I visit sub_nh, or Jess 4 now or Meek...Carma and so many others. Wouldn't it be so boring if we all conformed to the same principals, and all dressed the same, if we couln't freely express ourselves without fear of judgement. You do not always have to agree with what someone says, but at least believe in their right to say it.Just ignore the blogs that bother you and don't read them. Do what ever you have to do. The whole point of this blog today is to ask all of you to try and understand my message. Instead of criticizing each other, instead of bickering and thinking negatively, take some time to think about the love we have for one another here. This is our family, I don't want anyone to leave here and I don't believe Peter does either, not really. Sometimes, we all can be hurt by words. Words can cut like a dagger into your heart. So before you say negative things about your neighbour, stop for a moment, take some deep breaths, get yourself a drink, have a smoke, take a break .... but just think before you write that negative thought. I accuse myself of writing negative thoughts. That is wrong, so wrong. I try never to do this but sometimes I get angry when people say things or hurt someone I care about. But that is no excuse. Try not to think negative thoughts Because they can become negative words And they can become negative actions And negative actions can shape into negative character. So follow your dreams, have fun with the blog, read whom you want to write what you love. But for goodness sakes don't criticize anyone for being unique, just appreciate their exceptional talents. Peter you, are our teacher, so no more talk of deserting class in the middle of the semester! Because at this moment in time you are exactly the teacher we need. Love to all my family moon2u |

Wouldn't it be nice if people could just always get along...unfortunately it doesn't work that way; some people just can't let it go. I think people should be able to disagree without malice. Just because my opinion doesn't agree with yours shouldn't make us mortal enemies.

Well, Getts said it first and I agree. It is amazing how well some people can tactfully disagree. I taught special education and it brings with it some interesting parents. I needed them to work with ame and I needed to be honest with them. Believe me - it can be done!!!!! I ended up being asssinged all the students with difficult parents - not fun!!

Moony.. We are a family here in blog land.. and even in chat.. I love the family (friends) I have here.. so many have inspired and helped me to grow.. when you think about family.. all families are made up of differences.. and all families are dysfunctional to a point. None being perfect.. sometimes we forget to view others from outside our own thoughts, ways and beliefs.. this can cause problems.. it does take a strong person to admit, to stand alone, and to look at the situation as an outsider (so to speak), but when done so.. we can see it from another angle or even several different angles..all we need to do is step back and see But as with families.. if held in the heart.. issues blow over.. wounds mend..not always heal fully..but mend enough to move past things.. A meditation I would like to share shows a balance in things.. A weak person uses force to rule, while a powerful person uses love to guide. Force will one day disappear, but love will always remain. Smile.. I believe in love...and I know you do too.. Gina ___________ Find the humor each day holds.... Gina

It is the nature of folly to see the faults of others and forget its own.

Moony, Thank you for your wonderful insight on a topic that touches us all.... i mentioned in my blog today (in replies to others) that blogs should be used as a means to enlighten and humor each of us, not for malicious intent and with hateful purposes. take care, Doug
