I have a Galaxy android cell phone.

Although I can use it and I can text, I do not respond on demand, but will get back to my family (They're the only ones who know the number.) in due time.

I tell them that the operative word is MY cell phone.

I did give in on one point though. I do keep it on and charged up!! LOLOL

Oh heck, I've been texting for some time with my grandson & granddaughter. One of them once told me that I shouldn't let them get ahead of me and they're were right. I want to keep up with technology etc and know about as much as they do. Mind you, that may still take some time LOL

I have had a cell phone for a long time and I do text. It came in handy when I was on vacation in Alberta and had to contact my g/f. She isn't into texting either but she does use it. This week it came in handy when my nephew wanted to get a hold of me. He texted me instead of calling. I don't sit in a restaurant and text someone across the table of whom I am having dinner with. That is just plain rude. Earthy I am sure you will catch on pretty fast. I have a Samsung Galaxy Android and it is pretty easy. The phone is new and I am slowly finding my way around on it.
