 When I was younger, I hardly noticed the changing seasons. Each one had it own beauty and ugliness, and I was more focused on the differing chores that each one brought.
Now that I'm a bit ( ) older, I watch the changing of the seasons, like the changing of the guard of my life. Sometimes, I ponder on the four seasons of the year, comparing them to the seasons of my life. Each also had its beauty and its ugliness.
Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

 THE HEAVY RAINS WE HAVE HAD HAVE PUT AN END TO THE HEAT WAVE BUT TODAY HAS BEEN PRETTY WARM AGAIN. THE REAL FALL WEATHER IS SUPPOSED TO BEGIN ON THURSDAY BUT I WILL NOT TAKE THE AC DOWN UNTIL OCTOBER. THE HEAT COULD STILL RETURN. THE COLORS ARE BEGINNING TO CHANGE A LITTLE BUT OUR FALL IS RARELY SPECTACULAR. I MISS THE FALL COLORS.

Me too K. I’m trying to soak in the last of the warm temperatures we are currently having (it’s been hovering around 30-31 Celsius for the last week) before they disappear for good. I am not a winter person. I’ve tried to embrace it but it just won’t happen. I love summer too much.

I would have to agree with you there. Fall colors can be amazing! And the smell of the leaves that have already fallen is like smelling the air after the first spring rain. And if you’re lucky enough to get that late October warmth to stick around through Halloween it can be something indeed.

How poetic that is. It’s true though, the stages of our life can be compared to the seasons. Each one has a positive side and a negative and we try our best to embrace and accept both sides of the coin. Perspectives can change as life marches on and we see things in a whole new light!

Same here. We are expecting a cool down towards the end of this week. Hopefully we have a beautiful Indian summer this year that lasts into October. Will have to wait and see what Mother Nature brings.
