Nice! Godsmack is a great band. I Stand Alone is my favorite song and music video.

 I have to admit I don’t know many of their songs (a friend introduced me to Under Your Scars) but after hearing it one time I found I really liked it. I Stand Alone is a bit too heavy metal for my tastes. I like some of the soft metal but it’s not something I listen to on the regular.

 Very nice words indeed. I have never heard of the rock band Godsmack. I'm not a heavy metal fan either. My eldest son was and is a big metal fan.

Thank you maudie. I’d heard of Godsmack before but never listened to any of their music until a friend shared a link to this song on FB. He’s going through a very difficult breakup and working through things in his own way. I was curious so I followed the link to listen and I loved the song, I’m not a fan of the rest of their music but this one I could get behind. Thanks for coming by.

 Not familiar with that music because I never cared for it. But I sure liked the picture. There is something about the ocean that is so calming to me, even when it is crashing against the rocks in New England before a storm.
Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Hi Mrsjoe! I understand completely. Godsmack is a heavy metal band and I don’t care for that sort of music either. There was just something about this song that I liked (apart from the fact that I could actually make out the words).

There’s just something about the water that calls to a part of our human soul. Something primal that draws us close and calms the storm within. I’m so happy you liked the picture and that you commented here. It’s always a pleasure to see you. I have a friend who lives in New England. Such a beautiful place.
