I've never been much of a 'beach person' or wanting to lie in the sun..... The view from that window is lovely!!

There is something to be said for lying out in the sun and getting a nice tan. But that isn’t me either. I do love beach days though. I think you are right about autumn. It has a certain beauty that none of the other seasons can match. The color, the smells .. sweater weather. As lovely as summer is - nothing lasts forever and fall is that gentle reminder as we transition.
I love the window view as well!
