Crop Report

Many of you might remember a few weeks ago I started some potato plants from cuttings while pealing a few tubers for boiling. The arrow indicates the small shoot that came off a back side. As you can see it has surged catching up with the other sprouts. I am currently debating which pot outside I will soon have to transplant my crop into.

We woke up to a misty sprinkley morning, however, it soon gave way to a beautiful sunny afternoon where I made the most of my time on a few small projects.

My morning was spent in the hospital with tests, minor outpatient surgery by the specialist, and some short therapy. I am just drained of any extra energy so please forgive my lapse in posting or chat. I set down and just fall asleep.

I'm not sure how good it would work, but I saw something online that showed planting the potatoes in a big plastic bag, and instead of having to dig them, a cut is just made in the bag and the potatoes are harvested that way.

You're going to need a bigger pot!

Don't over do it, you'll get things done when you get to feeling better.

I am trying to stay at only those chores that are necessary.... not an easy task.

IT IS UNLIKELY THAT POTATO CROP WILL FEED THE FAMILY FOR MONTHS AND MONTHS. AND AREN'T YOU TRYING TO DO TOO MANY THINGS? REST SOUNDS LIKE A VERY VERY GOOD IDEA.
I'll try to work the potato crop in when I am not so jammed with enough energy to get it done.
