 Happy Thanksgiving to you. I'm visiting a daughter in northern Indiana and we are not having turkey today, but the ham and stuffed pork loin smells fantastic.
If they watch football, I'll go out into the 4 season room, and just enjoy the view of their creek and woods.

 I went to my daughter's bf house this year. I have been making an apple cake (same one) for 40+ years on holidays. Well, this year I had many issues with it, The ingredients were very off. Almond extract instead of vanilla, Mistake on using (unlabeled cornstarch instead of baking paper and her suggestion was putting a pudding mix in to make it moist. The flavor was ok, but when it was cut it looked like freakin Playdoh !!!! Needless to say, We laughed until I cried and told her to throw it away. Moral of the story....if it has worked for 40+ years, don't change it !
